After a couple of quiet hurricane seasons here on the Gulf Coast, Hurricae Issac decided to remedy that-incidentally on the anniversary of Hurrican Katrina (2005) making landfall.  He came ashore yesterday evening/night and is currently pounding New Orleans and the costal areas.  Isaac came ashore as a Cat 1 (scale is 1-5, as my bff Keri put it, ( Read more... )
